Studding Service

Our farm is excited to offer the opportunity of driveway breedings with our bucks. Our bucks are dual registered with ADGA and MDGA, so we are able to provide service memos for either registry.

However, the following requirements must be met and agreed to before scheduling and performing a driveway breeding:

  • Doe and the Herd it lives with must have been clean tested for Johnes, CAE, and CL in the last 6 months (negative brucellosis test only required for doe originating/living from outside of Maryland). Copies of the testing results will need to be shown via text, email, or facebook messenger, before proceeding with the studding agreement/service.

  • Doe does not have horns.

  • doe does not exhibit signs of illness at time of driveway breeding (lethargy, repetitive coughing, runny nose, mouth sores, mange, scours/diarrhea, etc.)

  • you must wear a different pair of shoes/boots that you haven't worn into your goat pen(s).

  • You are responsible for making sure your doe is ready to be bred.

  • After the initial breeding, you are offered one re-breeeding per doe that was driveway bred.

  • Service memos will be provided after the doe has kidded, in the following ways:

    • ADGA service memos will be provided online

    • MDGA service memos will be provided via email

  • Our studding agreement (outlining these requirements) will be signed by us, Willow Bend Farm, and the person wanting the driveway breeding. Copies of the signed agreement will be sent to both parties.
